So, you think you're on top of your Christmas shopping?

Oh dear. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings at this wonderful time of year, but I think you've forgotten something… Pork with Boozy Cranberry Sausagemeat.

You weren't going to make sausage rolls and other seasonal goodies with any boring old sausagemeat, were you? Surely not, after those poor little cranberries hurled themselves into vats of Glastonbury Festival Ale, just so your Christmas trimmings would taste so much better. The idea was born from a conversation between Ivan and the lovely people who make Glastonbury Ale - you know they're lovely, because only angels could make such good beer! Ivan was in his usual mode of inventing new flavours and combinations; there were cranberries, there was Festival Ale and soon afterwards Pork with Boozy Cranberry Sausagemeat was born.

You weren't planning on slaving over a hot stove? Well, that's all right, because Ivan has made wonderfully tasty Pork with Boozy Cranberry Sausages as well. Pop a pack into the oven on a lightly oiled tray, set to with the veggies and mash and you have a hearty, seasonal supper… or you could posh them up with cocktail sticks and turn them into giant canapés, or just wrap a sausage in some good bread and have a warming snack! If we can't tempt you with cranberry sausagemeat or sausages, don't forget that our normal Traditional Pork Sausagemeat and Chipolatas are available.

We have good news for you. Any order over 5 kilograms now qualifies for free delivery, whether you buy one 5Kg pack of sausages or lots of individual packs (well, you've got to try all the flavours, haven't you?) that add up to 5 Kg. If you haven't yet tried our wonderful sausages and meat, this is a great opportunity to order a selection of flavours and it's good news for regular customers; we'd rather you spent the money on meat than on delivery charges!

All our meat is made from Gloucester Old Spot pigs and Large White pigs so it's full of flavour, nor is our meat is pumped up with water and nasty additives, all you get from The Sausage Shed is great meat with lashings of flavour.

Oh, And Before I Wrap Up….

These aren't just any sausages, these are Somerset sausages, hand made by a jolly Irish butcher from happy, free-range pure-breed pigs. I know! It sounds like adverts from a large retailer, but as one customer said "My husband can normally eat 4 supermarket sausages, but he could only eat 2 of the Sausage Shed Sausages, they are really filling, full of pure meat, no fat, and certainly much healthier!"
